Paris, 21 July, 2022 - One year after taking over operation of the Paris charging network, TotalEnergies has opened the first fast-charging hub in the Belib’ network in the heart of Paris.

This opening is part of the growth strategy of the charge network operated by TotalEnergies, to accelerate development of electric mobility in the capital.

Belib’ hub in the SAGS Lobau parking lot - Rue Lobau - 75004 Paris

The new EV charging hub is exclusive for electric vehicles, featuring:

  • 7 x 50 kW fast-charging spot, greatly reducing charging time
  • An accessible 50 kW fast-charging spot reserved for those with mobility impairments
  • All standard electric connectors at each charge point (T2, Combo CCS direct current, CHAdeMO)
  • Protection from the weather from a covered charging area under the car park
  • 24/7 multilingual technical support
  • Various payment methods including, Belib’ subscriber badge, bank card, TotalEnergies Fleet card for professionals, and third-party mobility cards

Pricing:

The Boost+ charging rate is €4.80 for 15 min for visitors and €4.40 for 15 min for subscribers.

To obtain the Belib’ resident or non-resident subscriber rate, simply order your badge online for just €7 a year on the www.belib.paris website or via the Belib’ mobile app.

For customers of the Belib’ SAGS Lobau parking lot hub, parking fees for the duration of charging are automatically deducted.

This discount is calculated according to the actual vehicle charging time (i.e. the exact period during which the vehicle receives power). At the end of the session, customers pay the charge at the Boost+ rate, and the parking fees are deducted. In practical terms, the price of parking for the charging period is deducted from the Belib’ invoice, and the customer pays the parking operator without changing parking spot.

This partnership with the city of Paris helps accelerate our transformation into a multi-energy company. The promise is to provide our customers with electric charging that’s 100% renewable, reliable, and with service that meets their expectations. This new hub gives users access to rapid charging”, states Pierre Clasquin, Vice-President EV Charge at TotalEnergies. “It is the first of a series. By 2025 TotalEnergies will have a total of ten fast-charging hubs in Paris. Two more hubs will open in 2023; at the Saint-Augustin car park(VIIe), and at the Porte d’Auteuill car park (XVIe).
