TotalEnergies and SSE have signed a binding agreement to create a joint venture to establish a new major player in EV charging infrastructure in the UK and Ireland, under the brand “Source”.

Bordeaux, April 19, 2024 – TotalEnergies has been awarded the contract for Bordeaux’s parking authority, METPARK, to install, operate and maintain 1,500 charge points in 26 parking lots. The fifteen-year contract, France’s largest concession by a public parking operator, covers the supply, installation, and technical and commercial operation of the network, and the first charge points will begin supplying guaranteed-origin, fully renewable electricity from summer 2024.

Lyon – March 21, 2024 – TotalEnergies has won Aéroports de Lyon’s call for tenders to install, operate and maintain more than 800 electric vehicle charge points spread throughout the airport’s parking lots.

Lyon, November 21, 2023 – TotalEnergies announced the launch of an in-depot electric truck charging service today at the SOLUTRANS road and urban transportation trade show. With this new solution, TotalEnergies will install and supervise customized charging infrastructure adapted to transporters' needs to support their transition to electric mobility.

Paris/Lyon, October 6, 2023 – During the inauguration of TotalEnergies’ fifth 100% electric service station in France (Relais Garibaldi in Lyon), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer announced that the Company has now installed and operates more than 1,000 high-power chargers in France.

Paris/Berlin, 27 September 2023 – TotalEnergies has been awarded a contract for the installation and operation of 1100 high-power charge points (HPC) for electrical vehicles (up to 200 kW) as part of the German government's tender for the "Deutschlandnetz" ("Germany network").

Paris, 31 August 2022 – On the recommendation of the Department of Mobility and Public Works of the Flemish Region, the Flemish government has tasked TotalEnergies with the installation and commercial operation of a charging service for electric vehicles in the West Flanders (Westhoek, Kortrijk and Bruges) and Flemish Brabant (Brussels Periphery, Leuven) regions.

TotalEnergies and Altaaqa will work together (under the Altaaqa EV brand name) to offer end-to-end comprehensive solutions for the development of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles with a holistic scope encompassing all the phases of electric vehicle supply equipment deployment (preliminary studies, engineering, project management, supply, installation, and technical operation).

Paris, 21 July, 2022 - One year after taking over operation of the Paris charging network, TotalEnergies has opened the first fast-charging hub in the Belib’ network in the heart of Paris.

TotalEnergies, one of the winners of the private call for initiatives (AIP) launched by the metropolitan area of Aix-Marseille-Provence (AMP) to roll out a vast network of new electric vehicle charging stations, commissions its first charger.

TotalEnergies and its partners Hubject and alpitronic successfully tested their "Plug&Charge" solution on June 8 at the St Mathurin service station (France). This technology facilitates the user experience by making quick payment easier, faster and significantly more secure.

Electromaps and TotalEnergies have signed a roaming agreement, which involves the direct connection of the charging stations of the energy company in Europe to the Electromaps application through the Open Charge Interface protocol (OCPI).

After Brussels and Antwerp, TotalEnergies has won a call for tenders from the municipality of Ghent, Belgium’s third largest city, for the installation and operation of electric vehicles public charging stations, with 800 new public charge points by 2025.

TotalEnergies and China Three Gorges have signed an agreement to establish a Joint Venture in electric mobility in China. This equally owned company will build on TotalEnergies' worldwide expertise in electric mobility and CTG strong capacity in green energy production and supply.

The city of Antwerp awards TotalEnergies the extension of its charging network for electric vehicles. Our role? To expand the current network in Belgium's second largest city new charging points by 2024, including high-power charging stations (120kW - and ensure its technical and commercial exploitation.

TotalEnergies expands its charge point operator activity in Asia. The Company is acquiring Blue Charge, a public charging network of which TotalEnergies becomes the operator. Blue Charge currently accounts for 85% of the charge points in Singapore, with more than 1,500 charge points. 

Mobility and electric charging are new components of this partnership. Free2Move, Stellantis' Mobility brand, will use the network of charging stations operated by TotalEnergies for its car-sharing business in Paris.

After Antwerp and Paris, TotalEnergies has been awarded the contract for the expansion of the public electric charging network by the Amsterdam municipality.

Our goal is to expand the Amsterdam network by installing and operating 1,100 chargers, i.e. 2,200 new EV charge points by fall 2022. The Company reinforces its its position as a key player in electric mobility in Europe, in line with its ambition to operate 150,000 charge points by 2025.

TotalEnergies  is ranked number three worldwide, with a score of 97/100 in BloombergNEF's first survey of corporate engagement with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The study assesses companies on the basis of an analysis of 10 categories of criteria, in terms of integration of the SDGs into their strategy, identification of their priority impacts and improvement targets. The assessment also considers the transparency of the associated reporting.

TotalEnergies will expand the French capital charging network. The Paris City Council has entrusted the Company with the management and operation of its public charging station network for 10 years. Our role ? To modernize, expand and operate the leet of public charging stations for electric vehicles in Paris.

Total is continuing to expand in major European cities and has taken over the management and operation of more than 1,600 charge points installed in London's streets. The Company is also committed to supplying the Source London charging network with 100% guaranteed renewable electricity.
